Laureates and winners of the 29th International Poster Biennale

During the opening ceremony, we got to know the winners and laureates of this year's Biennale.

The jury of the 29th International Poster Biennale in Warsaw consisted of: Maciej Buszewicz (Poland) Jumping He (Germany), Annik Troxler (Switzerland) Henning Wagenbreth (Germany), Ada Zielińska (Poland) awarded prizes.

 

WINNERS OF THE MAIN COMPETITION OF THE 29TH INTERNATIONAL POSTER BIENNALE IN WARSAW:

GOLD MEDAL: “Roma/ka: tu i teraz” by Natalia Bugaj
Minimalist painting with strong symbolism. Braids, a red shirt and the inscription “Roma/ka” create an immediate effect and provoke deep social reflection. A simple form becomes extremely complex.

SILVER MEDAL: “Kremuliator” by Peter Bankov
A theater poster that boldly combines realism with expression. Pencil blurs disrupt the image and text, undermining their meaning and showing creative courage.

BRONZE MEDAL: “Fractals ”Jan Rajlich
Colorful, delicate lines tell the story of life and death with tenderness. A poetic journey through the human experience

WINNERS OF THE THEMATIC COMPETITION OF THE 29TH INTERNATIONAL POSTER BIENNALE IN WARSAW:

GOLD MEDAL: “Digital Politics” by Veera Kemppainen
A powerful warning about digital addiction and loss of identity. The question is: Quo Vadis?

SILVER MEDAL: “Nature and War” by Jaakko Tikkanen
Peaceful birch forests hide a brutal reality. A shocking contrast of beauty and destruction.

BRONZE MEDAL: “Quo Vadis” Martyna Pazera
With the evolution of modern transportation, this poster questions our choices and confronts us with human selfishness, carelessness and questionable concepts of progress.
