During the opening ceremony, we got to know the winners and laureates of this year's Biennale.
The jury of the 29th International Poster Biennale in Warsaw consisted of: Maciej Buszewicz (Poland) Jumping He (Germany), Annik Troxler (Switzerland) Henning Wagenbreth (Germany), Ada Zielińska (Poland) awarded prizes.
GOLD MEDAL: “Roma/ka: tu i teraz” by Natalia Bugaj
Minimalist painting with strong symbolism. Braids, a red shirt and the inscription “Roma/ka” create an immediate effect and provoke deep social reflection. A simple form becomes extremely complex.
SILVER MEDAL: “Kremuliator” by Peter Bankov
A theater poster that boldly combines realism with expression. Pencil blurs disrupt the image and text, undermining their meaning and showing creative courage.
BRONZE MEDAL: “Fractals ”Jan Rajlich
Colorful, delicate lines tell the story of life and death with tenderness. A poetic journey through the human experience
